Gillette Children's Hospital Campus
The Gillette State Children's Hospital was established in 1897 as the nation's first state-funded hospital providing free care for children with disabilities. The Hospital moved to the Phalen Campus in 1911. The Spanish Colonial-style buildings were designed by Clarence H. Johnston. The education wing, now the Minnesota Humanities Center, is the building on the far left with the cupola.
